✨I was motivated by the chance to develop a fresh social enterprise. OzHarvest’s brand and network provide an exceptional platform for pioneering innovations, leading the way, and creating a framework that others in the field can emulate or expand upon. It’s that blend of mission, imagination, and influence that attracted me.

 

 

2️⃣ What does OzHarvest’s mission mean to you personally?

 

🌱When I reflect on Nourishing Our Country, it’s about ensuring everyone experiences security, nurturing, and inclusion. While food is central—everyone should have access to nutritious meals—it also extends to fostering community, honoring culture, upholding dignity, and enabling self‑expression free from apprehension.

 

 

3️⃣ What community impact moment has inspired you most?

 

🌏Attending Parrtjima in Alice Springs built meaningful connections with Indigenous community leaders and artists, including Ben Tyler. It deepened my appreciation for their innovation, strength, and unity, and inspired gratitude for being part of these efforts.

 

 

4️⃣ What key challenges does OzHarvest Ventures face today?

 

⚡At its core, our biggest challenge mirrors that of the entire OzHarvest family: massive yearly food waste and growing hunger. OzHarvest Ventures focuses on innovative, practical solutions to cut waste and feed more people—our constant guiding purpose.

 

 

5️⃣ What is your vision for OzHarvest Ventures’ community support in 2026?

 

🌟By 2026, OzHarvest Ventures aims to deepen its early momentum by strengthening relationships with farmers, supporting communities on the ground, and staying closely connected to Indigenous partners.
